Bruges is a bustling port and is known as the 'Venice of the North,' thanks to a network of beautiful canals that run through this historic city. Uncover this delightful city as you stroll through the bustling marketplace, complete with its centuries-old Guild Halls, before passing the most popular landmark in Bruges, the Belfry. Then view the Town Hall and the Gothic Basilica of the Holy Blood, a 12th-century Romanesque church that is situated in Burg Square. You will get a photo stop at the Church of Our Lady, a 13th-century chapel that is home to an array of art treasures, including Michelangelo's incredible sculpture, the "Madonna and Child (exterior views)." After enjoying a scenic canal boat cruise, you'll have time to independently explore Bruges and browse the shops that surround the cobbled Walplein Square before choosing your own location for lunch.
