Your half-day adventure begins when you arrive in Old Town. Here, you'll follow your guide to the 775-year-old Belfry of Bruges, one of the city's most prominent landmarks. Nearby is the Town Hall, built between 1376 and 1420 and one of the oldest guild halls in the Low Countries. Have your camera ready for one of the square's most notable sights, such as the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Originally built in Romanesque style in the 12th century to hold a holy relic, the church is noted for its gleaming sculpted statues and stunning 18th century stained glass windows (exterior view only). You may be thirsty after all this sightseeing, so your guide will then lead you to a delightful local café for beer tasting. Then explore Bruges (approximately one hour) before rejoining your motorcoach and heading back to port.
Special Notes:
The drive between Zeebrugge and Bruges is approximately 30-minutes each way.Guests must be 18 years old to participate in the Beer Tasting.
