Indulge your senses with the beauty and flavors of Gotland during this scenic and memorable excursion. First on the itinerary is a visit to Tofta Lodge & Beach Resort. The facility dates back to the 1930s when Swedes started visiting seaside resorts for recreation. Here, you'll sample a selection of tasty, locally made products. Next stop is Ansarve Farm. Learn how owner Jenny Granlund and her friends and family designs, sews and produces clothes from the farm's 150 ewes. Next, you'll travel through the bucolic Gotlandic countryside and visit one of the 92 medieval churches originally built by Vikings. Your adventure ends with a guided walking tour through Visby's narrow streets and alleys. UNESCO calls the city "an outstanding example of a North European medieval walled town" and rightfully so. It boasts the largest number of preserved ruins in all of northern European, with ten church ruins, 27 preserved medieval fortresses, and has more churches within its walls than any other Swedish town.
