Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Board your catamaran and cruise to Cíes Nature Preserve in the Ría de Vigo. The preserve was created in 1980; in 2002 it was made part of Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. The islands are characterized by white-sand beaches, rocky outcrops and mixed forest of oak, fig, eucalyptus and pine. The preserve is also home to the world's largest yellow-footed seagull colony. Your guide will provide you with all the necessary safety and itinerary information while you relax and take in the scenery during your outward cruise. Your destination is Monteagudo Island and Rodas Beach, named the best beach in the world by "The Guardian" newspaper in 2007. Enjoy approximately three hours of free time to swim in the crystalline waters, beachcomb or sunbathe. Alternately, your tour guide will lead an approximately 1.25-mile trek about the island to Alto do Príncipe vantage point, to observe its fauna and flora. Or simply enjoy the free time to explore on your own.
