Calling all outdoor enthusiasts, photographers and nature lovers! Put on your hiking boots for a trek through the stunning landscape that lies just outside of Trondheim's city center. After boarding the coach, you'll drive to the Sverresli viewpoint, which affords lovely panoramic views of the city and wood-clad hills. Photos taken, you'll continue on to Bymarka, Trondheim's main city forest park covering over 200 square miles crisscrossed by 517 miles of hiking trails. The highest point in the park is Gråkallen Hill, which sits 1,700 feet above sea level. Once you disembark at the foot of the hill, the 90-minute hike will take you through scenic forestland, passing small lakes and open landscape. When you reach the summit, you can enjoy a spectacular view toward the fjords and on a clear day, you can sometimes see in the distance the mountain chain which forms the border between Sweden and Norway.
