During your five-hour excursion you'll visit a winery and have the opportunity to sample a collection of Bandol's best. (Wine tasting participants must be 18 years of age or over). But, first on your itinerary is a visit to the Provencal village of Le Castellet. Sections of the ancient ramparts still stand, as well as narrow, cobblestone streets, and stone houses adorned with colorful flowers. The hilltop castle provides spectacular views of limestone cliffs and vineyards. After a tour of the town you'll drive to a vineyard near Bandol and learn about Bandol wines. Whether you're a novice or a connoisseur you'll learn how to check a wine's color and clarity, how to smell, taste, and analyze the wine's flavor and aroma as you sip a glass of red, rosé and white wine. At the conclusion of your wine experience, you'll return via motorcoach to Toulon.
