This fascinating tour starts with a dazzling sail across Sir Francis Drake Channel to reach nearby Norman Island, one of the Caribbean's top snorkeling destinations. The supposed inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island," this isle intrigues with its history involving buried treasure. Using the provided snorkeling equipment explore inlets tucked into the cliffs near a large harbor. Study amazing rock formations and scraggly walls encrusted with brightly hued sponges and cup corals and underwater, spot hungry tentacles of brilliant coral polyps. Afterward, swim and relax on the white sandy beach of The Bight or along Great Harbour, a mesmerizing beach on nearby Peter Island. Delight in a refreshing beverage and shop for souvenirs and snacks before enjoying a tranquil sail back to Tortola.
