Board your motorcoach for the 1.25 hour-drive from Yokohama to Shinjuku, passing Yokohama Bay Bridge and Haneda Airport. Disembark at your designated rendezvous for approximately 5 hours of free time. Shinjuku offers several attractions. The Tokyo Metropolitan City Government office observation deck rises above NisiGuchi (West gate), HigashiGuchi (East gate) and Minami guchi (South Gate). Shinjuku is a district of skyscrapers and luxury shops. Moviegoers will recognize the Park Hyatt Tokyo from the film "Lost in Translation." Close by are Meiji Shrine and Shinjuku Gyoen by train or subway. The shrine commemorates the emperor who led Japan into the modern world while the Gyoen is a beautiful garden and one of the prime cherry-blossom viewing sites in Honshu. Or Head for Shinjuku Station, the city's busiest train terminal. Approximately half a million riders pass through the station each day. Tokyo's famed Ginza is a short train ride away. Rejoin your motorcoach at your designated rendezvous for the return to the ship.

The drive between Yokohama and Shinjuku is approximately 1.25 hours long.This tour is non-guided and not recommended for passengers with limited mobility.
Shinjuku Gyoen is closed on Mondays and the day after any national holiday.
