Spend the day on land and sea for a look at the creatures that live under the waves and the islands that dot Ago Bay. First on the itinerary is a tour of the Toba Aquarium. One of Japan's largest aquariums boasts more than 30,000 aquatic animals from 1,200 species with several spectacular themed zones including Ancient Sea, Jungle World, Waterside in the Forest, and the Polar Sea, and one of the areas is dedicated to the sea life in the waters around Ise Bay and the Kumano-Nada Sea. Get up close to the only dugong in Japan at the Mermaid Sea exhibit, marvel at the oddities in "Weird Living Creatures Research Center" and view fun-loving sea lions and seals in the Marine Mammal Kingdom. Then, you'll transfer to the boat dock and embark on a leisurely cruise along the rugged coastline and around Kashikojima, the largest island in Ago Bay.
