Designed for small groups, this look into Estonia's rural past will enchant young and old alike. Located in the seaside village of Pringi in Viimsi County, the Viimsi Open Air Museum offers an immersive experience into the area's history, culture and traditions. Wander through the complex of 150-year-old farmhouses, barns and sheds and imagine how people led their daily lives doing farm work, fishing, relaxing, having parties, participating in market days, and celebrating holidays. At the museum you'll hear about the history of black bread and its customs and traditions. Who doesn't love the smell and taste of fresh bread straight from the oven.
