WHAT YOU VISIT
Taipei 101
One of the world's tallest skyscraper towers 1,667 feet over Taipei. Completed in 2004, this modern structure features 101 floors above ground, five below and a luxurious shopping center. Notice how the building's design, a unique blend of modern and traditional elements, brings to mind an Asian pagoda, a bamboo stalk and a stack of ancient Chinese money boxes, each a meaningful symbol in China's rich culture.

Presidential Office Building (Outside Visit)
With over 300 rooms, the 196-foot-tall structure was the tallest structure in Taiwan when it was unveiled in 1919. Built to serve as the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period, the architectural design is a combination of traditional European elements, including Baroque, Neo-Classical, and Renaissance features.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As the coach makes its way through Taipei, you'll pass Liberty Square, a monumental exhibit hall and plaza that commemorates the former President of Republic of China.
