Travel by local bus to Nasali at the Rewa Delta, pass grassy plains and villages as you travel down river. Enjoy a friendly welcome from villagers who will sing and serenade you on arrival. The priest will invite you into the beautiful Nailili Church, built by Catholic Missionaries in the early 1800's. On your walk, you may meet friendly children at the school, where dedicated teachers have recently uncovered fascinating facts about this historical site.
Special Notes:
·Wear comfortable warm-weather clothing and walking shoes. (Close-toed shoes recommended).· Modest attire is required for visiting local villages; knees, shoulders and midriffs must be covered; short shorts and swimwear are not allowed. Guests are asked to remove hats before entering the village. It is important to ask permission before taking an individual's photograph.
