Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Embark on a fun-filled 90-minute RIB exploration of Uig, a district on the islands' west coast. Capable of startling acrobatic maneuvers and high speeds, RIBs provide an excellent vehicle for this exhilarating excursion that begins with a scenic one-hour panoramic drive across the island to Miavaig Harbour. After a safety briefing you'll climb into the RIB. Then, hang on as the captain revs the engine and steers out along the rocky shoreline and past the sweeping, one-mile-long Riof Beach en route to Siaram and Pabbay Mor islands. The RIB captain will slow down to explore the interior of some sea caves before turning north to the natural arch at Geodha na Sgarbh. Finally, enter Pabbay Lagoon, whose pristine beaches and aquamarine waters are reminiscent of the Caribbean and lures seals, and possibly dolphins and basking sharks. Back at Miavaig Harbour, relax with a dram of whisky before returning to Stornoway.
