Experience the island from a whole different point of view. This adventure takes you 2,000 feet high into the mountains aboard an open-air gondola, where you'll get to see one of St. Lucia's lush rainforest canopies up close. Your 3.5-hour adventure begins with a short motorcoach ride to Rain Forest Adventure Park, the base for the Aerial Tram. After an orientation, climb into your eight-person gondola with your guide for a 80-minute journey that takes you up and a way for bird's-eye views of St. Lucia's Caribbean oceanic rainforest, nurtured by gentle rains and rich volcanic soils. You'll climb silently over the treetops, discovering twisting woody vines, dense thickets of flowering foliage, and thick trees, providing food and shelter for wildlife. At the conclusion of the tour there is an optional 20-minute nature walk and time to pick up a rainforest souvenir before returning to the ship.
