Spend the day exploring the wonders of Split, both old and new, on this exciting full-day tour. Set out on a two-hour walking tour around this extraordinary city. There is much to see, but one unforgettable highlight is Diocletian's Palace, nestled in the heart of Old Split, a maze of narrow cobbled lanes featuring fortified walls, courtyards and stone columns. Have your camera ready for the St. Dominus Cathedral and climb the stairs for spectacular views of the city and Adriatic Sea. Tour the Temple of Jupiter, the People's Square and Old Town, with plenty of time for shopping and souvenir hunting on Marmontova Street. Then, board a motorcoach for the Mestrovic Gallery. Enjoy a festive lunch of traditional local dishes by the serene Cetina River and countryside. A 45-minute drive back to Split pier gives you time to savor the panoramic coastline views of the Dalmatian Coast.
Special Notes:
During the 2025 season the Mestrovic Gallery will undergo renovation to improve energy use. As a result the interior space of the gallery will be unavailable.Therefore through 2025, the exhibition and presentation will be relocated to the garden of the gallery. In this regard, the visit and guided tour will take place in the garden where guests will have the opportunity to explore the architecture and sculptures in the open air.
