Settle in to your comfortable motorcoach for a three-hour picturesque drive that includes stops for photographs. Travel along the scenic Sognefjell Mountain Pass, taking in the breathtaking vistas of waterfalls, mountains, lakes and valleys. Please note this is a windy mountain road with a few white-knuckle, hairpin turns. The Sognefjell Mountain Pass is the highest road in Norway and has been awarded the status of a National Tourist Route due to the pristine natural scenery it traverses. Always changing, the diverse mountain vistas give way to glistening lakes, jagged peaks, plunging waterfalls and charming Norwegian villages. Stop in the Hurrungane Mountain range, boasting some of the tallest peaks in Norway, for picture-postcard views. Keep your camera at the ready because you're headed up to the plateau of the Sognefjell Mountain for another opportunity to disembark, breathe in the fresh, crystal-clean air and take pictures.
Special Notes:
The majority of sightseeing is conducted from the comfort of the coach. There are a few stops for photographs; however, you can opt to remain on the coach. This tour involves a few hairpin bends and steep winding roads. Heavy traffic can be experienced during the summer months.Guests must be able to negotiate steps onto/off of the bus. Driver cannot assist in carrying passengers onto/off of the bus. Wheel chairs must be foldable.
