Indulge in a pair of popular Skagen pastimes-sightseeing and sampling local food. The fun begins when you meet your guide at the pier and set out on a walking tour of Skagen. As you stroll the narrow streets, you'll no doubt be charmed by the picturesque village that's been painted and depicted by poets and artists for its charming yellow houses with red tile roofs and white picket fences, wide sandy beaches, and picturesque vistas. Your first destination is the Wine, Spirit and Deli Central shop where you'll taste some of the local cheese from the region of North Jutland, as well as freshly-caught seafood. Enjoy some time to browse the shop before continuing on to Saxilds for one of Denmark's famous open-faced sandwiches. Then it's on to the Bolcheriet Skagen candy shop for something sweet before walking back to the ship.
