One of the most stunning seaside towns in Alaska, Sitka charms with its natural beauty and intrigues with its history. Spend 2.5 hours exploring on an exciting adventure that combines a cruise and a visit to a historic "floathouse." Your small group (maximum of six participants) takes a seat on a heated and covered cabin cruiser for an unforgettable excursion into Alaska's paradise. As you maneuver through a chain of small islands and into Sitka Sound, your captain will offer narration on Sitka's rich local, natural and marine history. In addition to the spectacular wildlife that abounds, you'll see World War II bunkers. Enter picturesque Camp Coogan Bay, where you'll learn what it's like to "live off the grid" at "Boar's Nest Floathouse," a privately owned residential floating home built in the 1920s during the logging era! A light snack and beverage are offered, then enjoy the views as you return to port.
