Uncover the many secrets that Mount Etna holds. First, travel up 6,233 feet above sea level to the Silvestri Craters and learn how this alien landscape was formed in 1892. After tasting a "Cannolo", walk up to the edge that will reward you with a bird's eye view of the Gulf of Catania. Photos taken, you'll travel to San Michele Estate, a 64-acre family-owned winery. As you're escorted around the grounds, you'll discover that Mount Etna's rich, volcanic soil lends itself to growing the perfect grape. The result is a wine that rivals those of Bordeaux, Burgundy and even the rest of Italy. Then, you'll stroll to the cellar for a tasting of a variety of San Michelle wines, accompanied by local products. At the end of this perfect day, you'll board your coach for an idyllic drive back to ship.
