Behold the breathtaking coastal waters of the Sibenik Archipelago with a leisurely cruise aboard a beautiful wooden boat. Enjoy a snack and beverage as the captain sails through the channel of St. Anthony, the gateway to the city and open sea. At the channel's entrance are a multitude of sights such as a cave where a small church dedicated to Saint Anthony once stood, and ruins of 16th century towers next to an iron chain that prevented enemy ships' entrance to Sibenik's port. And you can't miss "Hitler's Eyes," an impressive 200-meter-long (656-foot-long) sea tunnel dug to hide and protect warships from air raids and named by the locals for their threatening look. Further on is the St. Nicholas Fortress, one of the best-preserved on the Croatian coast. From this unique perspective, you'll also have unsurpassed views of the old city, including the Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Special Notes:
Note: A short distance and a few steps must be negotiated to board the boat. Bring head cover, sunblock, sunglasses. Wear comfortable shoes. Not suitable for guests confined to wheelchairs.
