Blending art and tradition, this lovely cultural day begins with a motorcoach drive to the Tokaido Hiroshige Art Museum, a showplace of ukiyo-e art, or wood-block prints. View over 1,300 ukiyo-e exhibits, many by Hiroshige Utagawa (1797-1858), one of the best-known Edo Period ukiyo-e artists famous for his captivating landscapes. Learn the process involved in making the prints and the natural materials that produce such dramatic colors. Continue to a traditional tea ceremony. The scent of the tea soothes your soul as you sit down to participate in a choreographed ritual handed down through the generations. You will be served a Japanese green tea, called "matcha," accompanied by some sweets. Continue your tour to Miho-no-Matsubara, one of the "New Three Views of Japan" distinguished for its scenic beauty. Admire the pine-forested coastline along Suruga Bay and take in the grand views of Mt. Fuji.

It is necessary to take off your shoes when entering tea room.The tea ceremony is limited to 15 guests at a time. Venue may be altered depending on crowd.
