Take a 4-hour tour of natural wonders. Sit back and enjoy a scenic drive that offers panoramic views of the wild Sardinian coast and the city of Alghero. This excursion is ideal for those who wish to see the sights, with limited walking. There will be photo opportunities aplenty on a loop from the coast north of Alghero to the city, passing Porto Ferro, Porto Conte Bay and Cape Caccia, en route to Fertilia. Along the way, we'll stop at a local café for a 30-minute break. We'll also visit Nuraghe Palmavera (exterior visit), Sardinia's link to its prehistoric past. These unique and mysterious Copper Age stone towers dotting Sardinia were erected by the Nuraghi culture during the second millennium B.C. There are over 7,000 such structures on the island, and they reportedly date from 1,500 to 500 B.C. In Fertilia, we'll take a 30-minute rest stop before heading back to the pier.
