Travel back to the prehistoric age at Nuraghe Palmavera. Explore the mysterious towers and huts erected by the ancient Nuraghi culture during the second millennium B.C. En route, pass along macchia-covered slopes, cork oak groves and the rugged beauty of Sardinia's famed Rivera del Corallo named after the coast's vivid red coral cliffs. Take a photo opportunity at the viewpoint of Cape Caccia. Graced with a lighthouse at its tip, the Cape's headland offers dramatic views of the Gulf of Porto Conte and the Alghero coast. Down south, we'll take a guided walking tour of Alghero's medieval quarter and visit the medieval Church of San Francesco. This Romanesque church from the 14th century features a pink stone façade. You'll have time on your own to shop in Alghero afterwards.
