Board your motorcoach and drive to Playa de Americas resort, where you board a catamaran for an approximately three-hour sail along the island's southern tip. Your vessel features sunny and shaded observation areas as well as restrooms. Keep watch for marine mammals. The waters off Playa de Americas are frequented by pilot whales and dolphins. Sperm and fin whales also visit these waters on a seasonal basis. Common, spotted and bottlenose dolphins are regularly sighted, while pilot whales occupy the island waters in large numbers. Please note - this excursion does not feature a swim with dolphins or whales. Stop for a swim and a snack at a secluded spot off the coast. Complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are served throughout your cruise.
Special Notes:
While dolphins and whales are frequently seen in the bay, sightings cannot be guaranteed.Do not consume alcoholic beverages before swimming. Wear your swimsuit and bring a hat, sunglasses and adequate sun protection. Shoes must be removed before boarding your catamaran. A ladder will be used ti enter and exit the water during the swimming stop.
The transfer to the catamaran is not guided. You will have an escort to guide you to the boat and provide instructions but no commentary.
