Set your sights and cameras on the vivid reminders of Tenerife's volcanic history with a sunset excursion to Las Canadas del Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dominated by Mt. Teide, a stratovolcano rising 3,718 meters (12,198 feet), the highest peak in Spain and the world's third-tallest volcano. Join your expert guide as you embark on a panoramic drive into the heart of the island, climbing upwards through pine forests to the park. Have your camera ready, a photo stop along the way allows you to capture the breathtaking landscape of black lava petrified on the slopes, diverse vegetation, and the occasional resident rabbit and hedgehog. Continuing on, you'll travel to an ideal location to look out over Mt. Teide as the sun slowly sets. Relax with a glass orange juice as the sky changes from blue to orange, to fiery red.
