Board your motorcoach and drive past the Nautical School in Santa Cruz en route to the authentic fishing village of San Andres. Continue past Las Teresitas' mile-long beach towards the interior of Tenerife. Stop for a photo opportunity during drive and ascend the foothills and traverse the wild Anaga mountains via a tunnel to Taganana in the Mercedes Forest. Arrive at Taganana, the largest settlement in the Anaga Mountains. This village in Tenerife's remote interior is famed for its vineyards. During your visit, enjoy a wine and cheese tasting at a local restaurant. Continue to the old capital of La Laguna. The island's old capital is a city of graceful colonial houses and convents dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is home to the University of La Laguna, and is considered to be the cultural and religious capital of the Canary Islands.
