Your tour begins at the port when you are greeted by your friendly guide. You will then board your air conditioned transport bound for a drive to the Masaya Volcano National Park. On the way, you may enjoy the scenery whilst listening to the captivating information of Nicaragua offered by your tour guide. The Masaya volcano is found in Nicaragua's first and largest National Park, founded in 1979. It includes five craters and a range of elevations between 100 and 630 meters above sea level. It is the only volcano in the western hemisphere where you are able to drive to the rim of its main crater and look right into it. From here, we will travel to the nearby farm estate Los Altos where you will be able to observe and enjoy cultural activities of the local inhabitants such as cigar making, elaboration of handicrafts, tortilla preparation, hammock weaving, and more. You may also purchase any of these items. Then you will partake in a delicious traditional Nicaraguan lunch called "Caballo Bayo", whilst enjoying a folkloric performance. After your five-star experience, you will return to the port.
