Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Taste Italian culture and learn history with a day-long excursion to the 2,600-year-old city of Sorrento. Once you arrive, you'll enjoy free time to stroll the cobblestone side streets; explore the shops that line Corso Italia in search of lace sheets, fine furniture, table linens and handcrafted pottery; admire the Baroque architecture of Piazza Tasso; or walk along the rocky shoreline. Then, you'll proceed to a celebrated Neapolitan winery located on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius, the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meet the winery owner and learn how the volcanic soil creates unique wines as you tour the 29-acre vineyard. Following the tour, you'll sit down for a sampling of grappa (unaged brandy made from grape skins, seeds, and stems) or distilled liquor, and five wines accompanied by bruschetta. Refreshed, you'll rejoin your coach for a scenic narrated drive back to Salerno.
