Enjoy a fascinating look at the sights of Saint John during this three-hour citywide tour that includes views of one of nature's most fascinating phenomena -- the Reversing Rapids. Your first stop is a visit to Fallsview Park, which offers the best vantage point in the city of the renowned Reversing Rapids where the Bay's powerful tides reverse the flow of the Saint John River twice each day. Next, is a visit to the 140-year-old Old City Market, Canada's oldest working farmers' market. Then, it's on to two military landmarks built to protect the city from American attacks and each with phenomenal views: Carleton Martello Tower, built during the War of 1812, and Fort Howe Lookout, established in 1778. You will travel through Saint John's historic district as you return to your ship, eager to plan your next adventure
Special Notes:
Due to the extreme nature of the Bay of Fundy tides, we cannot guarantee the stage of the tide cycle during your visit. Due to an ongoing restoration project there is no access to the inside of the Martello Tower however it can still be viewed from the outside and information is available inside the interpretation center on the history of the tower and the restoration project.Child Price:
