Wild waters await on the adrenaline-fueled Reversing Rapids Jet Boat Adventure. Marvel at the world's highest tides in the Bay of Fundy, one of North America's seven natural wonders, and experience the raw power of Saint John's legendary Reversing Rapids up close on this thrilling one-hour experience. Your journey begins with a short walk to Pugsley Terminal, where you'll be equipped with life jackets and rain gear, as you will get wet! Then, brace yourself for an exhilarating 20-minute ride aboard a high-speed jet boat. Feel the adrenaline as your expert captain navigates through the swirling whirlpools and towering waves of the rapids. Along the way, keep an eye out for the diverse marine life, including porpoises, harbor seals, and a variety of seabirds. Don't miss out on this heart-pounding adventure and the chance to create lasting memories in one of the most spectacular natural settings.
Special Notes:
Each participant must be a minimum of 42 inches tall, and those younger than 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. There is a two-hour period during low tide where participation is restricted to those 9 years of age and older, and we will advise you of restrictions. This excursion is not recommended for guests with heart problems or back problems or who may be pregnant. Although all efforts are taken to ensure this excursion is safe, in activities of this nature an element of risk is beyond human control. Guests will be asked to sign a waiver.An Aquila Tours staff member will escort guests to the jet boat, a short 10-minute walk along Water Street. Guests will be able to explore on their own or walk back to the ship after the experience.
Bring A towel (guests will get wet). Guests should be sure to dress in appropriate quick-drying clothing. It is a short walk to the cruise terminal where guests can change out of wet clothes.
