Embark on a scenic drive that takes you through Fundy National Park with a visit to Hopewell Rocks, a world-class marine attraction and nature reserve on a full-day tour. Gaze out of the motorcoach window and look for a varied diversity of birds in Fundy National Park, as well as the occasional moose. Once at Hopewell Rocks, witness the clash of continents, carved by melting glaciers and sculpted by the highest tides in the world. Twice daily, one hundred billion tons of water creates tides that can rise up to 50 feet. Your tour includes a boxed lunch that you can enjoy at your leisure. Visit the gift shop at Hopewell Rocks before re-boarding your motorcoach. En route to the ship, you'll stop for a photo opportunity at a beach in Fundy National Park.
Special Notes:
Due to the extreme nature of the Bay of Fundy tides, the stage of the tide cycle during your visit cannot be guaranteed. Walking on the ocean floor is only possible at low tide and at guest's discretion. Guests must be able to walk approximately 300 yards over pebbled and wet surfaces, and maneuver approximately 100 steps; however, the iconic Hopewell "flowerpot" rocks can be viewed at any time from the lookout. Transfer time to Hopewell Rocks is approximately 135 minutes each way.On the following dates in 2024, it will not be possible to walk on the ocean floor due to the stage of tidal activity during your visit: Aug 30, Sept 11, Sept 15 & Oct 2.
