Experience the scenic beauty of mid-coast Maine on a half-day adventure that includes free time to discover the seaside village of Camden. Board your motorcoach and begin your tour with a glimpse of Rockland's exquisite harbor, lively main street and Breakwater Lighthouse in the distance. Continue on to Mount Battie, the highest elevation in Camden Hills State Park. Take in panoramic vistas over Penobscot Bay and the scattered islands that dot the horizon. After filling your camera with the views, descend to explore the delightful harbor town of Camden. Here you will have approximately 2.5 hours to immerse yourself in its New England charm as you wander through local shops and enjoy coastal cuisine. You'll have approximately two hours of free time to discover this quaint enclave's treasures, shops and eateries before meeting the motorcoach and returning to Rockland after this lovely day.

Order of highlights may vary. It is advisable to dress in layers, as the temperature may be cooler at Mount Battie. To derive full enjoyment of this tour, some walking is required.
