Your half-day excursion begins at the pier as you board your transportation bound for the Lahuen Ñadi Forest. Once you reach your destination, you'll join a guide for a one-hour walk through this stunning woodland. These rare and protected trees can reach heights of 120 feet. At the end of your trek you'll rejoin your transportation and head north to Nueva Braunau, a German-style village founded in 1877 by Austrian settlers. To learn more about the town's history you'll tour the Colonization Museum before leaving for another Bavarian-inspired town, Puerto Varas. Resting on the shores of Llanquihue Lake, Puerto Varas was founded by German immigrants over 150 years ago. During your tour you'll have a chance to visit a handicraft market where you can shop for local artwork, craftwork and souvenirs. After your tour, board your transportation for the return trip to Puerto Montt.
