Get close to nature with a full-day excursion to Punta Ninfas and a look at the resident Magellanic penguins. Sit back and relax as you travel through the a wide-open landscape to El Pedral Ranch, a former 20,000 sheep farm whose shoreline plays host to a colony of Magellanic penguins. Here, you'll transfer to a more rugged vehicle and stop near the beach where you'll continue to walk down to the sand to the home of the majestic Magellanic penguins. During your visit you may see elephant seals, sea lions and birds such as Southern giant petrels and rock cormorants. After you've taken that perfect photo you'll begin your return back to El Pedral where a delicious and hearty Patagonian barbecued lamb lunch awaits. At the end of your feast, you'll say goodbye to your hosts and return to your coach for the scenic ride back to your ship.
