What you will visit:
Dune Buggy Adventure:
A dune buggy safari takes you deep into the southern part of the island. Along the way, your guide will point out areas of interest as well as the island's exotic flora and fauna as you explore the unspoiled beauty of south Eleuthera. You'll traverse a landscape of on and off road trails set against a backdrop of turquoise water and sapphire-blue sky.
What you will see along the way:
Keep your camera handy on this excursion, as you may see any one of the 223 species of birds that call this island home. Many travel from afar during the winter to escape the wrath of the deep cold. Continuing south, you'll head towards the historic (and some say, haunted) Bannerman Town, named for Sir Alexander Bannerman, governor of the Bahamas during the 1850s. Agriculture was once a mainstay on the island, and during the early 18th century, slaves were brought in and sold here. Among the ruins is an auction house that stands as a silent reminder of the somber chapter in the island's history.

Scenic Beach
Once you arrive, you can climb out of your buggy for excellent photo shots, get to feel the clean, powdery sand between your toes and absorb the picturesque views from this private beach location.
Anglican Church of the Assumption
The ruins of the Anglican Church of the Assumption, which was built by slaves in the 18th century, and old ruins of houses mark what used to be the quaint site of Bannerman Town at that time.
