Whether you're a first-time visitor or seasoned traveler, the otherworldly landscape of Mauritius is a wonder to behold. And one of the best ways to discover this idyllic paradise is on a full-day adventure. This thrilling day begins as you board the bus and journey to the breathtaking Trou aux Cerfs volcanic crater. Almost 1,000 feet in diameter, it was formed millions of years ago and is one of the island's most stunning wonders. Photos from the rim are sure to provide great reminders of your trip. Next, you'll head to Voiliers de l'Ocean where dedicated craftsmen create 18th century ship models out of teakwood. Another outstanding photo opportunity awaits at Grand Bassin, a natural lake that rests in the crater of an extinct volcano. When hunger calls, you'll have lunch before venturing on to Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth, where multi-colored sand dunes amaze and delight.
