Your half day nature excursion starts with a drive to the magical Penang Botanic Gardens, through the enchanting capital city of Penang - George Town - was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008 and drive through the residential area and colonial-era villas outskirts of George Town. Established by the British in 1884, the gardens are home to native and cacti, ferns, bamboo, flowering trees, and shrubs. Here, you will also be able to view the garden's long-tail macaques. In northern Penang, passing scenic drive along Batu Feringgi one of Asia's most beautiful beaches before arriving at Entopia by Penang butterfly farm. Stroll through their covered aviary, which is home to more than 100 species of live butterflies. End the day at the lush Tropical Spice Gardens, which boasts more than 500 species of native and exotic plants. View their staggering collection of herbs, spices, bamboos, ginger plants, and heliconias. Heading back to port you will enjoy more scenic countryside and coastal views.
