Your day of rejuvenation begins with a scenic, 60-minute motorcoach ride through Otaru Town, en route to the Jozankei Spa. The first inn was founded more than 130 years ago by the monk Jozan, the hot-spring waters are known for their therapeutic properties. During your free time you can choose to take a walk and explore Jozan Gensen Park and its stunning natural landscapes. This area is also famous for the origin of the "Kappa" or Japanese water sprite legend. Your trek is rewarded when you reach a local hotel in the Jozankei Spa Resort, with a typical Japanese onsen, or hot-spring bath - a time-honored Japanese tradition enjoyed for centuries. Sink in and feel your cares melt away as serenity and calm wash over you. At the completion of your soak, you and your fellow travelers will return to the motorcoach and enjoy a relaxing, picturesque drive home.
Special Notes:
A minimum of 20 passengers is required for this tour to operate.Passengers with tattoos are not allowed to bathe in the hot springs.
No photography is allowed inside hot spring.
Bathing rules must be followed at hot spring bath. Bathing suits and towels are not permitted in the bath.
