Board your motorcoach and drive past Akershus Castle and City Hall en route to the Bygdøy Peninsula. Visit the Maritime Museum housing the 9th century Viking boat from the largest Gokstad Viking ship findings, and a wide range of Norwegian maritime cultural heritage. Explore the Fram Museum, home to the schooner sailed by Norway's great Arctic explorers. Tour the Norwegian Folk Museum, featuring over 150 historic buildings collected from around Norway including a 13th century stave church. Drive to Holmenkollen, the birthplace of ski jumping. A local restaurant is the setting for a traditional Norwegian lunch. Following lunch, continue to Vigeland Sculpture Park. Over a period of 30 years, Gustav Vigeland created around 200 sculptures arranged over an area of almost 80 acres.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat and light jacket or windbreaker.Flash photography is not allowed inside the buildings at the Norwegian Open-Air Folk Museum.
