Nothing can be better than a walk by a peaceful lake in the woods-and warming up by a cozy fire. So embrace Oslo's beauty with an invigorating hike designed for a small group of a maximum of 20. Your adventure begins when you meet a local guide at the pier and walk to catch the train to Sognsvann, a sparkling lake surrounded by a boreal forest. Twenty minutes later, you'll disembark practically in the center of the magical woods. As you follow your guide along the trail, you'll soon learn why the lake is one of the locals' most popular spots in Oslo to hike, jog or picnic. Breathe in the fresh air and revel in the Norway spruce, pine and birch trees as you make your way to a campfire. Learn how to build a fire, and rejuvenate with marshmallows and Norwegian chocolate before returning to the pier.
