Paddle your way through the shimmering waters of the Nordfjord on a relaxed two-plus-hour kayaking adventure. This elegant fjord, the sixth-longest fjord in Norway at 66 miles, is flanked by towering mountains, sparkling cascades and icy blue glaciers, once dominated by the Vikings. The day begins with a walk to the Mølla Guesthouse on the Olden pier, where you'll engage in a safety briefing. Wear a waterproof jacket, as you may get a little wet. Step into your safe and stable double kayaks and set off led by your knowledgeable guide. As you admire the magnificent surroundings, you'll be entertained with Norwegian folk tales and local lore as well as fascinating details about the natural landscape, including one about the shoreline road you will trace, officially named 'the worst road in Norway.' At the conclusion of your day, glide back to the starting point and enjoy a short walk back to port.

Special Notes:

Double kayaks are used. This tour includes approximately 2 hours of kayaking. Participants must be 12 years and over to participate. This tour may be cancelled in the case of poor weather conditions. You might get wet, so please bring a change of clothing and footwear with you. Although this tour does not require kayaking experience, participants must be good swimmers and have no fear of water. The fjord water may be very cold.
