Spend the day among the meditative beauty of Okinawa's lush scenery, tropical sea breezes, wondrous rock formations, and ocean views. Your scenic journey takes you across the island to the Chinen Peninsula and Seifa Utaki, one of the most sacred sites in Okinawa. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its name means "purified place of Utaki." According to ancient texts, the goddess Amamikyu came here, gave birth, and her descendants populated the islands. Pilgrims have visited here for centuries and it continues to be revered as a holy place. Back on the coach, you'll continue on to the Gangala Valley where you can stop underneath some impressive stalactites! Follow your English-speaking nature guide who will point out the striking rock formations, dramatic plants and unusual trees as you hike through the forest. After your active day, enjoy a relaxing ride back to port.

Guests will walk a lot duing this tour. Highly recommend to wear confortable walking shoes. The venues are not wheelchair accessible.Seifa Utaki is closed from June 3 to 5, October 28 and 30 in 2019
