Discover Nuuk Fjord's incredibly diverse wildlife on a boat ride that leaves the colorful wooden houses and rugged shores of the capital city behind. Glide atop the glassine waters flanked by spectacular natural scenery in search of the Arctic sea creatures that call these frigid waterways home. Your captain is particularly adept in seeking out playful seals and soaring seabirds, and because no specific route must be followed, your captain can find the best chances to spot different wildlife species that frequent the waters. Wend your way through a maze of tiny islands and small canals, taking in the wonders of Greenland and enjoying the views from the outdoor deck. Time permitting you'll continue on to the Sermitsiaq, a mountainous island where melting snow produces plunging waterfalls and cascades. To best enjoy your experience, dress warmly, bring a camera and binoculars, and wear mosquito repellent and netting.
