Stroll the flower-filled main street, Corso Italia, lined with quaint boutiques and sidewalk cafes. Next, settle in for a 60-minute drive to Pompeii. Marvel at the archaeological excavations of a lost city buried beneath ashes from Mt. Vesuvius's eruption in 79 A.D. Special Notes:
Due to earlier closure of Pompeii excavations during the months of November and December, the visit of Sorrento will be made in the afternoon, and shops might be closed.The drive from Naples to Sorrento takes approximately 1.5 hours; the drive from Sorrento to Pompeii takes approximately one hour.
Due to traffic restrictions of the Sorrento center, a short walk from the motorcoach drop-off point to the main center and vice versa will be required.
Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
For security reasons, large bags, backpacks and trolleys are not permitted inside Pompeii excavations. These large items can be left in the motorcoach. Lockers are not available.
