Visit a local kiln to observe the meticulous process of shaping and hand-painting porcelain. Learn how modern designs blend with traditional techniques and watch artisans demonstrate their skills in throwing, painting, and glazing.
Next, visit Izumiyama Jisekiba, a key site where high-quality porcelain stone was discovered, kickstarting large-scale production in the region.
