Sun and sand begin this pleasant three-hour tour of some of the prettiest beaches in Mykonos. Board your motorcoach and travel along the southwest coast of the Aegean Sea, past iconic sites and charming villages. Visit a trio of beaches: Agios Ioannis, with soft golden sand and panoramic views of Delos; Ornos Beach, with a gentle shoreline fringed with souvenirs shops and colorful markets; and Kalafatis Beach, flanked by tamarisk trees and boasting offshore breezes popular with windsurfers. Continue on to the town of Ano Mera for its focal point, the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani. Originally built in 1542, this awe-inspiring architectural structure has a whitewashed exterior and colorful dome. Inside, find an impressive wooden altar screen made in 1775 by Florentine artists. In the main square of town, visit a local taverna for a glass of licorice-infused ouzo accompanied by some traditional "mezedes" snacks. Return to port.
