Put your balance to the test on a guided stand-up paddle boarding tour and explore Moreton Island's beautiful beaches, spotting resident marine life along the way. Commonly referred to as SUP, stand up paddle boarding is one of the most popular water activities around. It's a fun and healthy way to make the most of Moreton Island's stunning sites. Not only will you enjoy a few laughs as you find your balance, it's also great for general fitness through strength and balance exercise, which strengthens your core. This fun SUP experience is ideal for both first time paddle boarders or the more experienced. Before you set out, you'll learn basic water awareness, proper SUP stance and paddle usage, and how to maneuver your board from experienced, patient instructors. After perfecting your technique, you'll paddle and glide along the coast for a unique view of the spectacular scenery.
Special Notes:
Minimum Age:12To make your day as enjoyable as possible, please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and SPF30+ or higher factor sunscreen. Make sure to bring swimmers, a towel, and bottled water.
- Guests must be 12 years and older to participate on tour.
- Not suitable for guests using wheelchair. Pregnant guests and those who suffer from epilepsy are required to obtain a medical clearance/doctors' note specifying they are medically cleared to participate in the SUP tour, a physical or digital copy of the doctors' note must be available at tour check-in and must be current within the last 6 months.
A parent or guardian must be participating with any guests 16 years or age or younger, a parent or guardian must be present for check-in for all guests under the age of 18
