Explore one of Australia's best snorkeling locations-the Tangalooma Shipwrecks. The sunken vessels include old barges, dredges, and flatboats-15 in total that were scuttled by the Queensland Government to provide safe anchorage on the eastern side of Moreton Island for small watercraft. Coral has formed in and around the wrecks forming an artificial reef that's now home to over 200 species of tropical fish, several species of brightly colored coral and marine life. Dive in and experience it all with a professional guide leading the way. All snorkel equipment is included and the area offers every diving environment in one dive, including reef, wreck, drift and naturalist. Once at the site, the 39-foot-deep crystal clear waters provide fantastic visibility to view an abundance of marine life such as wobbegongs or wobbies to the locals, trevally, yellowtail and an array of tropical fish and coral formations.
