Enjoy the water, sunshine and the thrill of paddling around the Tangalooma Wrecks in a kayak built for two. Your guided tour begins with a short safety briefing before taking your kayak out into the pristine waters of Moreton Bay and heading out to the wrecks, passing stunning white, sandy beaches and spotting marine life along the way. Your guide will provide expert commentary as you glide over the glistening water to the entombed ships, whose rusted remains are visible above and below the water. The sunken vessels include old barges, dredges, and flatboats-15 in total that were scuttled by the Queensland Government to provide safe anchorage on the eastern side of Moreton Island for small watercraft. Coral has formed in and around the wrecks forming an artificial reef that's now home to over 200 species of tropical fish, brightly colored coral formations and marine life.
