One of Carmel's most famous residences, Carmel Mission Basilica, is a registered National Historic Landmark, designed in a mix of Spanish and Moorish architecture. Witness its serene beauty with a stroll through the lush gardens, and a viewing of the church's fine collection of Spanish Colonial liturgical art and artifacts. Learn the history of one of California's most important heritage sites and see relics from the 1800s in the church's four museums. Back on the coach, you'll travel east to Folktale Winery or similar, where you can savor a sampling of California's finest wines, paired with light snacks that will delight your appetite and palate.
